2017 SEMA Show: when off-road hits Vegas


The latest and greatest in the automobile is in the limelight at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas from October 31 to November 3. BFGoodrich® is part of the show, bringing exiting off-road racing experiences to attendees.

Each year, the automotive industry’s brightest minds and hottest products gather in Las Vegas at the premier automotive specialty products trade event in the world hosted by SEMA (Specialty Equipment Market Association). If you want to get a feel about the best in automobile customization, this is definitely the place to be. Seminars, product demonstrations, special events have been put together for close to 140,000 people from all around the world who are expected this year. With 2,500 new products from more than 2,400 companies, the event brings together every segment of the automotive industry. Enough to design the perfect driving experience, right?

Teams compete in a simulated pit stop to change BFGoodrich Baja T/A® KR2 race tires on a SCORE Baja Chenowth Pre-Runner buggy. Each day the winning team is awarded two sets of BFGoodrich® Tires.Two weeks before the start of the Baja California, the brand of so many podiums also presentedthe SCORE Baja 1000 Qualifying. 35 of the world’s top off-road racers convened in Nevada to fight for their place in the iconic race.

Committed to sharing
BFGoodrich®, as a brand willing to make things happen and to support drivers’ dreams (Go For Good Project ) presented the four 2017 winners of the Outstanding Trails program that promotes sustainable and responsible off-road driving by awarding grants of $4,000 to committed off-road clubs. In addition, always keen on sharing the insights of off-road, BFGoodrich® offered attendees VIP passes for the premier of the highly anticipated sequel Dust 2 Glory featuring the SCORE 2016 World Desert races.
