Friday 19/01/2024, almost at the end of via Gianturco on the Luzzati side, I hear a metallic rolling noise coming from the left front wheel. I stop and check, indeed there was a bolt with a washer stuck in the tread. I turn around and go to the first tire dealer in the area. I stop at SATEP and ask for the tire to be repaired due to a puncture and I point out that there is a bolt stuck in the tread. The fact is that as soon as it arrives the tire loses all its pressure, just in time in other words. After a short wait they ask me to put the car on the lifting bridge ramp. After removing the wheel and a quick check the employee tells me that there is no bolt in the tread, but only a leak from the rim. Clearly, having seen the bolt in the tread with my own eyes, I insist saying that it must have come out and the deflation of the tire is proof of this. It may be that the rim was also part of the cause of the loss of pressure. Unfortunately, they didn't listen to me, in fact they "demonstrated" to me that by spraying a liquid, which to me looked like water, there was no sign of a puncture on the tread. The fact is that I pay (10 euros) and I go in the direction of Avellino. At the height of Tufino I begin to feel a vibration in the steering wheel and I stop: perfect, exactly as I imagined, right front tire flat. Fortunately there was work in progress and therefore the speed was really low and therefore I was able to calmly slow down even more and stop in the lane marked out for the works. I call SATEP, explaining the matter, they reply that they had done everything possible and there was no hole in the tread and that therefore it is likely that it had punctured again, or that it was the rim again. In fact they suggest that I call a tow truck for assistance. Well done. It's obviously already around 5:00 PM, considering the time it takes for the tow truck, the return to SATEP from Tufino, etc., I decide to replace the wheel and put the spare one on. After replacing the tire, I decide to go straight to Avellino, so as to have a minimal chance of getting to a tire dealer in time. Around 6:35 PM I arrive in Mercogliano and decide to go to Happy Gomme. No sooner said than done: the time it takes to arrive and ask for a puncture repair, insisting that there is certainly a hole in the center of the tread, the worker with the tread vertical, and not horizontal as at SATEP, spraying water and "soap" finds the damned hole. Time 5 minutes and it was all repaired with a vulcanizing string. Price 5 euros (SATEP 10 euros). I call SATEP back in the meantime: first phone call to tell them that I was at a tire dealer who had found the hole and repaired the tire. Answer: probably the hole was too small and the phone call was closed in my face. I'm calling to reiterate that if a customer says there was a nail or bolt stuck in the tire, at the very least you apply yourself to find that damned hole and above all maybe you use water with a sufficient percentage of "soap" or detergent..... even children know it: with water it is difficult ... to make bubbles. You decide. I WILL NOT GIVE FURTHER OPINIONS!!
