Two years ago, I purchased Continental Sport Cont.5 tires from Rifer Gomme and installed them on my car. After about a year, these tires (the ones mounted on the rear) started to be very noisy. When I took them to Rifer for inspection, they told me that perhaps the pressure wasn't optimal, but in fact, there was the beginning of a strange "step-up" in the tires. Months went by, and I complained several times to the owners of Rifer, who, despite admitting the obvious step-up, told me to contact Mercedes... but how can I buy tires from you, Rifer? What does Mercedes have to do with it? Anyway, I went to Mercedes, and after testing, they confirmed that the rear tires were step-up and that (clearly) I should have contacted Rifer, who sold them to me. The cost was €70, at my expense.
To make a long story short, Rifer, despite acknowledging the obvious damage or poor construction of the tire, always refused to refund me. Even a giant like Continental refused to acknowledge the damage. It's too easy to sell tires and then ignore a tire problem with a thousand excuses.
In the future, I will only buy tires online (they cost less), and I will never go to Rifer Gomme again.

I arrived with an emergency tire just punctured, and they replaced it with a temporary one so I could get home, and they didn't want anything!
