Unfortunately, not all tires come out with a flat, and this is one of those cases. I booked a tire change on January 5th for January 8th. The reservation was instantly confirmed by the system. Knowing it was the holiday season, I was confident that the staff would contact me in advance on the reopening day (January 7th) in case of any anomalies/problems. Unfortunately, that didn't happen. I showed up at the time and day scheduled in the reservation to proceed with the tire change. To my great surprise, I was greeted by an employee who informed me that the tires hadn't arrived yet due to supplier closures. Nothing more. Initially, he asked me to leave a contact number so he could contact me once they arrived (the same one he should see in the reservation), but when I complained that I had already scheduled the change today, he responded with a perfunctory apology. I had to insist on asking if they might have similar models in stock (again, they cause the problem and are also proactive in resolving it). Unfortunately, once again, the search was unsuccessful. The employee dismissed me, claiming I'd been wronged and offering apologies, but nothing more. I then pointed out that while the warehouses were closed during the holidays, they had been open the day before and could have notified me if they were unavailable, so I wouldn't have to waste fuel and time. Again, they apologized, citing an "oversight." Luckily, Pneusmarca was nearby: in about half an hour, they were able to provide me with higher-end tires at the same price, almost making me forget I'd wasted time with a company that offers a dubious IT reservation tool, given that reservations should only be confirmed manually by operators if the product isn't available or the system isn't communicating with the warehouse. The staff, perhaps pressured by the workload, were unfortunately unable to resolve the problem or even prevent it from occurring.

You see, I'm a bit out of line (I'm 75 years old, by the way), and many of the services I'm offered don't interest me. How is it possible that IT companies' programs don't anticipate situations like mine? The managers behind the software are a disaster; there's no need for speed, but for absolute precision and adequate testing.

I come here for tire changes whenever winter tires are legally required, and when I need to have my car inspected. The staff is always helpful, knowledgeable, and very friendly. They also offer storage for your set of winter or summer tires, which are stored in a dedicated warehouse. A mechanic has recently joined the tire service team; they also offer sanitization and windshield wiper blade replacement services. They have a waiting room with a hot drinks dispenser and a TV. Competitive prices.
